From private labor & delivery and postpartum rooms to a full team of specialists available around the clock—including obstetricians, maternal-fetal medicine specialists, neonatologists, anesthesiologists and midwives—we provide the highest quality personalized care. Our featured services and programs include:
- 19 restorative suites: Dedicated to relaxation and recovery, all our private mother and baby postpartum rooms are equipped with a personal bathroom and spacious shower, a sleeper sofa for one support person, privacy for family bonding and individualized food service. And with a 16-bassinet nursery right nearby, our layout optimizes couplet care, which means both mom and baby will be supported and cared for by the same nurse throughout their stay.
- Comprehensive NICU: Our neonatal intensive care unit has been designated as a Level II NICU for premature infants and those who require special care, so parents can rest assured knowing that their baby is in the best hands.
- Midwifery program: Our specially trained, certified midwives provide prenatal, gynecological and birthing services, as well as individualized birth plans that consider physical, emotional, spiritual and cultural preferences. We are dedicated to giving mothers the holistic experience they desire with hospital resources available, if needed.

What are visiting hours?
Visiting hours are 7am–8pm.
Can I take a tour?
Yes, tours are offered after the infant nutrition and breastfeeding class on the third Wednesday of the month, depending on unit availability.
Is valet parking free?
Yes, we offer free valet parking services.
Can siblings visit?
Yes, siblings are welcome during visiting hours, which are 7am–8pm. Please ensure they are feeling well and are without fever.
Are doulas allowed?
Yes. Huntington Hospital welcomes doulas during your delivery.
Does the hospital perform circumcisions?
Yes. If you would like your infant to be circumcised, notify your obstetrician as soon as possible. A nurse will show parents how to care for their newborn after the circumcision.
What if I’m interested in cord blood banking?
Families can arrange for private cord blood collections from one of several affiliated companies.
